Setting the Framework for the Future, Ascension St. Vincent Hospital, one of only two-level IV perinatal health care centers in Indianapolis offering the highest level of specialty complex care to patients, is expanding its flagship Indianapolis campus to continue its legacy of exceptional comprehensive healthcare services. The core campus expansion is an investment that will create a regional destination for quaternary healthcare, and includes a new women’s hospital, an expanded neonatal intensive care unit and a new brain and spine neurosurgical hospital.

To assist the ASV ministry’s executive leadership in identifying opportunities for improving the health and wellness of the surrounding community beyond its core campus, METICULOUS has been engaged to provide anchor and wellness district master planning while serving as a community liaison to a range of community, city, and state stakeholders.

The overarching objective is to leverage the economic ripple effects of the ministry’s core campus expansion to impact socially determined health outcomes by influencing renewal and re-investment off-campus and within the surrounding community.
